CONFLICT MANAGEMENT IN HEALTHCARE

Conflict causes decided tension at work and often produces poor professional outcomes. Typically, the ways people respond to conflict are avoiding, competing, accommodating, compromising or collaborating. If conflict is not directed and controlled, it can have damaging effects in the healthcare setting. It is very important to identify the source of conflict before attempting to resolve it because the source of conflict influences the style of resolution employed. Healthcare workers should learn effective conflict management skills to support a positive work environment. In this training we will cover:
